Simply Beautiful!
As you all can tell some little girls got into make up and had a Beauty Shop Day! This is one of my grand babies, Zoie on the left and my middle baby Macayla on the right. As you can tell they have not yet graduated from Cosmetology School : ) but they are working on it and having fun trying.
I have been a busy little beaver these past few days and I wish there were more of me to go around. It was Zoie and Jali's turn to come stay with me for a couple of days because their big sister got to stay with me 2 weeks ago. I get such a kick out of Zo with her big, brown beautiful eyes. She bats those lashes and my heart melts. She has picked up a saying from my 2 girls..... Gama, I love you,she says with a big smile. Oh, I just love it! That goes on all day and now since her vocabulary is growing she loves conversing with her gama. When I picked her up at daycare on
Thursday she looked at me from across the room, her smile reached cheek to cheek and her eyes sparkled as she came running toward me with full force and jumped into my arms!!!! She was so excited to see me! That is a memory I will always hold close to my heart.
Now Jali is the one that wore me out. She is 2 months old and I am assuming since she was in a different environment with out her mommy that is the reason that she kept me up past 4 in the morning that little stinker. She did not just fuss but she thought it was time to be wide eyed with all of her little grins and coos. You would not believe the conversation that I had with her and she has the most beautiful, toothless smile!
Cayla and Kenzie, take after me and they were the little mother hens for the past couple of days. Cayla tried to do all she could to help out and to hold baby Jali. And my baby girl Kenzie makes sure that she tells Zoie how every thing is suppose to be done and the dos and don't. It is really very amusing to listen to. Gotta love em all!!!!!
Lucky me got to get out and go Scrappin with my girly friends, That is so much fun! We have lots of scrapping, good conversation, talk smart and of course snackin!! I figured after almost 10 hours I better get back to reality. Now, here it is at 1:35 am and I am typing away in my own thoughts, with my house silent except I can hear the back ground music of my children's soft lullabies playing.
I am hoping to get some yard work done and house cleaned up today, which will be in about 7 hours! You know the old saying.... No rest for the wicked !!! or A woman's work is never done. My list never ends.
Anyways, my Macayla is getting her tonsils out on Monday morning and could you all say a special little prayer for her. I would very much appreciate it. I am just hoping she will not be sick all the time once they are removed. She gets sick about every 4 weeks and with her tonsils being so over enlarged the doctors believe this is best for her. Daddy is staying home with Kenzie so I will be awaiting patiently at the hospital for my baby girl.
Also, I would like to apologize for my reading. For some reason I can not keep the space in between the paragraphs on today's blog. Maybe because I have just written a story (smile)!
