~Nestful of Nesting~

What is more perfect than seeing new life, just waiting to be born.

Mama Robin was close by chirping so we did not dare to get too close. She made her nest in the window ledge of our shed and she did such a good job. It must of taken her an awful long time to make this nest which seems to be in perfect formation. Her eggs are the most beautiful shade of blue that I have ever seen.

Is there is Dr. in the house?? Macayla's nurse
gave her some cute surgical materials to bring home so the girls could play dress up. Macayla is feeling a little better, eating more and picking on her sister. Oh, sisterly love, how wonderful!

Well today is nothing but BLAH! Cold, wet, misting on and off all day. I guess we need April showers to bring in May flowers. To see the beauty of nature emerging to life is just amazing. There is nothing more lovely to see then the re-birth of nature, the birth of a baby and the feeling you get inside when see all of this before you.

Every single baby is a brand new idea from the mind of God.

~My Little Angel~

My sweet baby girl Macayla made it through her surgery with hardly a tear shed. She was so brave. She has been sleeping peacefully for a little while, which is really what she needs right now. I wish I could take away her pain and make her feel better. She has not even complained so I know her Angel is watching over her. She can not go to school (Pre-School) for a week and no hard foods for 2 weeks which I know it is going to kill her not to be able to eat popcorn. She loves popcorn! I know she will heal fast and she will be running free through our back yard in no time.

Today was a nice warm day with an over cast. I would of liked to of seen the sun but the warmth was a very nice welcome. When I got into my van this morning guess what I found flying in there? Minnesota's state bird, THE MOSQUITO!!!! For those of you who have not been to Minnesota and seen our state bird believe me those things could fly away with your small pet! HA Well, needless to say he did not live very long. I have not seemed to accomplish much today except take care of my girls and I am working on laundry and house chores. You know a favorite of all of ours when we really wish we were having surgery so someone could wait on us hand and foot. I have been there too and oh yes, it is sweet to be catered to.

Well I must bid a good evening to all of you and wish you the sweetest thoughts and memories. I leave with you a poem that maybe for your children or for another child you love. God Bless you my sweet little Angel Macayla and may you feel better soon.

One and One
Two little eyes to open and close,
Two little ears and one little nose,
Two little elbows, dimpled and sweet,
Two little shoes on two little feet,
Two little lips and one little chin,
Two little cheeks with a rose shut in;
Two little shoulders, chubby and strong,
Two little legs running all day long.
Two little prayers does my darling say,
Twice does he kneel by my side each day,-
Two little folded hands, soft and brown,-
Two little eyelids cast meekly down,-
And two little angels guard him in bed,
"One at the foot, and one at the head."

~Simply Beautiful~

Simply Beautiful!
As you all can tell some little girls got into make up and had a Beauty Shop Day! This is one of my grand babies, Zoie on the left and my middle baby Macayla on the right. As you can tell they have not yet graduated from Cosmetology School : ) but they are working on it and having fun trying.
I have been a busy little beaver these past few days and I wish there were more of me to go around. It was Zoie and Jali's turn to come stay with me for a couple of days because their big sister got to stay with me 2 weeks ago. I get such a kick out of Zo with her big, brown beautiful eyes. She bats those lashes and my heart melts. She has picked up a saying from my 2 girls..... Gama, I love you,she says with a big smile. Oh, I just love it! That goes on all day and now since her vocabulary is growing she loves conversing with her gama. When I picked her up at daycare on
Thursday she looked at me from across the room, her smile reached cheek to cheek and her eyes sparkled as she came running toward me with full force and jumped into my arms!!!! She was so excited to see me! That is a memory I will always hold close to my heart.
Now Jali is the one that wore me out. She is 2 months old and I am assuming since she was in a different environment with out her mommy that is the reason that she kept me up past 4 in the morning that little stinker. She did not just fuss but she thought it was time to be wide eyed with all of her little grins and coos. You would not believe the conversation that I had with her and she has the most beautiful, toothless smile!
Cayla and Kenzie, take after me and they were the little mother hens for the past couple of days. Cayla tried to do all she could to help out and to hold baby Jali. And my baby girl Kenzie makes sure that she tells Zoie how every thing is suppose to be done and the dos and don't. It is really very amusing to listen to. Gotta love em all!!!!!
Lucky me got to get out and go Scrappin with my girly friends, That is so much fun! We have lots of scrapping, good conversation, talk smart and of course snackin!! I figured after almost 10 hours I better get back to reality. Now, here it is at 1:35 am and I am typing away in my own thoughts, with my house silent except I can hear the back ground music of my children's soft lullabies playing.
I am hoping to get some yard work done and house cleaned up today, which will be in about 7 hours! You know the old saying.... No rest for the wicked !!! or A woman's work is never done. My list never ends.
Anyways, my Macayla is getting her tonsils out on Monday morning and could you all say a special little prayer for her. I would very much appreciate it. I am just hoping she will not be sick all the time once they are removed. She gets sick about every 4 weeks and with her tonsils being so over enlarged the doctors believe this is best for her. Daddy is staying home with Kenzie so I will be awaiting patiently at the hospital for my baby girl.
Also, I would like to apologize for my reading. For some reason I can not keep the space in between the paragraphs on today's blog. Maybe because I have just written a story (smile)!

~My oh My Time Flies~

Oh my, how the time does fly. It does not seem to matter if you are having fun or not. This week my life was so busy between helping out my family members and taking my children to Doctor appointments I did not know if I was coming or going. This weekend has been just a home body weekend and trying to get my household back into order. I wonder how does a house get so messy when there is nobody around? But with so much coming and going we do not get to pick up before we leave so hurricane city it becomes. I am still wondering where this week went.

Today the sun finally showered us with its bright, beautiful rays of warmth. It was only forty degrees outside but there was no wind and the sunshine was such a welcome. All week long it has been so windy out and raining slush. And there was such a bite in the air with its gloominess that I did not even want to be outdoors. Those are the kind of days when I wish I were a bear.

I am so anxiously awaiting for the warmer weather to start blooming. It seems to puts a smile on my face and a dance in my step when I can awake to the morning sun. Those are the days when you just know that "it's going to be a good day".

A certain song comes to mind about time. I have typed out the lyrics below by Jim Croce.

Time In A Bottle

If I could save time in a bottle

The first thing that Id like to do

Is to save every day

Till eternity passes away

Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever

If words could make wishes come true

Id save every day like a treasure

and then, Again,

I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time

To do the things you want to do Once you find them

Ive looked around enough to know

That youre the one

I want to go Through time with

If I had a box just for wishes

And dreams that had never come true

The box would be empty

Except for the memory

Of how they were answered by you

But there never seems to be enough time

To do the things you want to do

Once you find them

Ive looked around enough to know

That youre the one I want to go Through time with

Memories, so many of them. Good and Bad but they have made me who I am today. Sometimes a memory seems like yesterday and others seem so far away. I am sure there is a special memory that you hold so dear to your heart. Hold it close and share it with someone. Even if you do not want to share it now, write it down and tuck it away in that special keepsake place. Someday someone will come across it and you will warm the heart of another.

I bid you a good evening of fond memories in time.

~Spring is in the Air~

SPRING IS HERE!!!!

Its a Beautiful, Sunshiny MORNING! I do believe spring is finally here! This is my fine feathered friend standing so boastful, bathing in the warm sun. You can even see all of the green grass poking its way through. I can hardly wait to walk barefoot with my girls through all the soft grasses once it has arrived.

I had a very busy day and I know I will have an even more busier weekend with my family. So much to do outside in the yard and we will have to take the girls out for an outing. My girls love to be outside and the weather is suppose to be just perfect.

I hope all of you can take some time to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with all of the new beginnings of life. Take a little walk if only by yourself to enjoy the quietness in the floating clouds, and just stand still to take in all the new beginnings of life that is surrounding you. Just take a moment for You.

For winter's rains and ruins are over,
And all the season of snows and sins;
The days dividing lover and lover,
The light that loses, the night that wins;
And time remembered is grief forgotten,
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten,
And in green underwood and cover
Blossom by blossom the spring begins.
